Episode 264: Publishing Is Not Dead, It’s Just Getting Started, With The Mikkelsen Twins

“Publishing Is Not Dead, It’s Just Getting Started” Mikkelsen.

Roland talks today to the Mikkelsen Twins about PublishingLife.com and the massive growth they’ve experienced since their launch in 2018. These young entrepreneurs are ‘Helping Ordinary People Quit The 9 to 5 And Find Freedom With Amazon Digital publishing’.

These brothers are trying to keep up with the demand of their single offer, front-end business, and they talk today with Roland about where they go from here to build upon the millions of revenue they’ve seen in just the last few months.

“Using a book to sell your services on the backend, that applies not just for our students but for literally anyone who has an offer.” Mikkelsen

Listen For

• The massive opportunity that they’re taking advantage of.

• What makes their Amazon offer different from the rest.

“The best way to make money with Amazon right now in 2021 is not by selling physical products on Amazon. That breaks people’s minds much of the time because they didn’t know there was another way to monetize Amazon. They think it’s just an e-commerce platform. But we do it through the Avenue of self-publishing and more specifically, audiobooks.”

• Why they finally gave in and joined the ranks of ‘online gurus’ by offering a course.

• Their $52,000 launch day.

“So we did like 52 grand in one day. Which was insane for us back then. Completely mind-shattering. So then we switched from, you know, self-publishing books as our main thing to, okay, now we’ve got a hundred students we got to take care of and help them build their own self-publishing businesses.’ Mikkelsen

• The dips and experimenting they had to do before seeing success with YouTube for lead generation.

• Where do they go from here?

“So later this year going to be building out a higher ticket offer for our students who have been waiting years to give us money. We have a lot of people who’ve been wanting to do it, and we’ve just never just been focused on this one thing”. Mikkelsen.
